Four ways to play
From “hand me an evening” to
“I want a multi-year journey.”
Pick the commitment level that fits.
Sign up with your city and a date. We email you a curated three-stop evening — a place to land, a spot to break the ice, and somewhere worth staying late. Vetted venues, verified hours, zero planning required.
Bingo and tic-tac-toe cards for the places you already love — climbing gyms, parks, bike trails, arcades. Pick a card, tick off the squares, claim the prize. The venue sets the squares; any player can suggest new ones.
Theatric scavenger hunts that unfold in a single neighbourhood. Follow riddles to real locations, answer correctly to unlock the next clue, and finish at the venue where your story lands. Solo, date night, or group friendly.
Multi-city Quests — a country you want to see, a bucket list you’ve been circling for years, a tour that only makes sense when you string the stops together. Knock one out on a two-week trip, or chip away at it for a decade.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What’s the difference between Quests, Challenges, Epics, and Weekenders?
Weekenders is a delivered itinerary — you get an emailed plan for your evening. Challenges are bingo-style cards you complete at a single venue. Quests are theatric scavenger hunts through one neighbourhood. Epics are Quests that span multiple cities, played on your own timeline. All four use the same Sidequest account.
Do I need an account?
Yes — a free Sidequest account. It tracks your progress across all four experiences and is how we deliver your rewards.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. Every Sidequest experience is free to play.
Do I need to download an app?
No. Everything runs in your browser — Quests, Challenges, Epics, and your Weekenders itinerary.
Where is Sidequest live?
Quests, Challenges and Epics roll out as we partner with venues city by city. Sign up and we’ll let you know when something goes live near you. Weekenders covers any city with enough vetted venues to build a proper three-stop night.
Can I play solo, on a date, or in a group?
All three, across every experience. Weekenders explicitly designed to be social. Quests work alone or with friends. Challenges let groups race the same card. Epics can be played in parallel by a whole travel crew.
What if I get stuck?
Challenges run on the honor system, so if you can’t do one square, skip it and take a different path to the win pattern. Weekenders has no puzzle to solve—you just show up.
I want Sidequest in my city or at my venue. How?
We’re expanding city by city as we partner with venues. If you run a venue, or you want one you love to host a Quest or Challenge, get in touch through our contact form and we’ll reach out when we’re setting up in your area.
